Willow Oaks Country Club

Watershed Consulting worked with George Golf Design to prepare a master drainage design for proposed golf course renovations. We overcame complicated permitting challenges and provided Willow Oaks significantly more playable days while protecting valuable environmental resources. The drainage plan included floodplain modeling of the James River, several drainage improvements, and protection of key environmental features. Drainage improvements included construction of a series of ponds and wetlands, and installation of a backflow prevention gate to minimize backwater effects of the James River. Watershed Consulting also provided permitting services for dredging of the existing irrigation lake.
